IamRoses Wedding Guest Book

I made this guest book for a lady here in my little town.  She didn't know what she wanted but did know she wanted a certain kind of paper.  I couldn't find the paper but loved this one when I showed it to her.  The arrangement of the flowers are from Iamroses.com, the bling is Recollections and the Love and locket key are from Hobby Lobby bridal section.  The flower trim you can get on lots of Etsy sites like Pro31 Designs(formally known as Twinsmom).  The first page is always the name and date, then two pages of pictures.  The wedding guest book section, the second section is for the gifts, third is bridal showers the last is family and bridal party.  She gave this to her daughter for Christmas and she loved them.  Thanks Hugs Robbin
Hi, Crafters.  I made these little Christmas treat bags for the workers at our local bank.  The ladies in the bank  always chat with me about crafts.  It is a little treat for the bosses so the girls can chat,  LOL  JK!!!  The left is the ladies and I used 12 days of Christmas paper.  The left was for the 3 guys and racking my brain for the paper name.  Sorry!!!  I have a video on my Youtube channel, Crazedcrafter.  I'm putting together a give away for hitting 500 subscribers.  Thanks Robbin

This is a composition book I covered.  Every thing you see where cut using www.MFTstamps.com
Die-namic dies. The yellow border is the Solid Bracket border, the Hawkeyes is on the File Tab, the flag is from the Mini Pennant die, the Fancy Flourish, Rolled Flower, Rolled Rose, the Loopy Bloom and Prima Donna Petals dies.  I am sorry to my Nebraska friend and family for making this Iowa book.  I do live just south of Iowa City.  They bought it pretty fast at the craft show.  Thanks Robbin Hugs

Fancy Framed Name Layout

I had seen this some where awhile back and had been wanting to make it.  I surprised my husband with it.  He loves it.  I am so glad I bought my Gypsy it made it so much easier to lay out.  I put each one on a layer to lay them out perfectly.  The button #13 cutting it at 5" high with the Lacy Label Lite Cartridge. I used the Cursive 101 cartridge cutting the font out at 1".  The top right is a collection of mixed brown 1" and curly roses from www.IamRoses.com  The bottom left is wood shavings.  There is a weekend event every year in Mt. Pleasant Iowa call Old Threshers.  There are different demo you can watch.  We went to the wood working one and collected a bag of the wood shavings.  My husband was not thrilled about me taking them home. "What are you going to used them for"  I said not sure but I have to have them.  Well here they are with a few leaves from Iamroses.  I am going to find the most perfect place to put this.  Thanks Hugs Robbin

This is the cutest coffin cut from the Cricut Happy Hauntings cartridge.  I cut it at 6.25".  It cuts a couple tops I did the plain one.  I stamped the web on it and sponge the edges with ink.  The Hershey nuggets are great aren't them.  The stamp is from Stampin Up's Holiday stamps made just for the nuggets.  I couldn't figure out what color to use so I did the three.  FAB, Thanks Robbin HUGS XOXO

These cards I designed for my first card class.  They loved them.  I used the Cricut  Happy Hauntings cartridge.  I cut the tree at 3.25", the ghost at 1.5 & 1.75.  The grave was 4.25 WIDE.  I think I did a great job making it dimensional.  The center one I only used paper from American Crafts "Boo" collection.  The kids were a border on paper and the orange strip was the back of the paper.  The stamp set I have had forever.   The Headless Horseman is very cool.  I cut him at 3.25 I think.  I added more grass after the picture.  The Spooky was cut at 2".  Thanks for stopping Robbin HUGS

Sisterhood Birthday card

My girl Tanya is an outdoor hunt, cameo and shot guns kinda girl.  We laugh how she buys her purse only if her gun fits and mine have to be pretty.  We are so opposite with so much but we have the greatest friendship.  I will share more in a minute.  I made this 5x5 card starting with a Kraft card base.  the used my wood grain Tim Holtz embossing folder with brown paper, inked the edges with vintage photo.  I added a small strip of pebble paper to the bottom.  the large butterfly is from a K&Co light weight wood embellishments, then cut a Zva Creations bling, stamped HB and layered that on the pebble paper. then added Iamroses skeleton leaves K1-805 / Z
and some cream Cherry blossoms S3--153 and some two tone brown S10. It wouldn't be complete with out butterflies from Matha's punch.  The cabochon butterfly in the bottom corner is from Recollections. This card is so Tanya.  She loved it!!!

The Sisterhood, L to R Stacy~Lesle~Aubree~Me ~Tanya.  We had so much fun this night.  Tanya's son came home from Iraq so It was a huge party.  We had the t-shirts designed, "Sisterhood Forever".  I went to Burger King for the crowns.  Then designed each crown to match our personality.  I added embellishments to each but left room to add whatever as time goes on.   Thank you for stopping by.  HUGGS, Robbin!!!

Thinking of You Card

LOVE this card.  I made this card for my friend Colleen.  She had surgery on her stomach.  Ya wouldn't that suck.  The inspiration for this card where the roses from Iamroses.com.  I love love these large Pink and Yellow two tone R 77 - 611, mixed pink Cherry Blossoms S3 - 1 and the pink S10.
The A2 card is on kraft card stock, the pink layer(5.25X4.0)with a brown layer (5x3.75).  I some what had the the flowers aranged, then cut the Thinking of You with Cricut Lite Lacy Lables. The satin ribbon lace hot glued down.  I almost always include a cameo in my flower arrangements.  The final touch is always a few butterflies with the Martha Stewart punch with three pearls in the corner.  Thanks Hugs Robbin

IamRoses Butterfly Composition book

I covered this book for our teacher at our pre school.  I asked her what colored she want and she said Turquiose.  I thought oh no but I would say oh ya.  I think turquiose can be goddy if it is not used right.  I had to go to Iowa City that night and new I already had the flowers.  Then it was the hunt for the right paper.  This orange paper has yellow and turquiose in it, then I began building the flowers.  These flowers are from Iamroses.com.  The roses are item R21 50 mixed pack, the small ones around the cameo are S10 and the yellow, turquise flat flowers are  ZQ P80-427.  When I placed my first order I bought several mixed packs.  I didn't think i would use the ZQ flowers but I love them and  I ordered more.  Then added the cameo and a few metal butterflies to the arrangement.  I cut the florishes(Home Decor) and her name(Hello Kitty Font) with my Cricut. The butterflies were punched out with the Martha Stewart punches we all LOVE.  Thanks Hugs Robbin

Dress Form Composition Book

Hey Crafters!!!  I made this covered composition book for my co-worker Kristy.  The paper collection I used is DVWV Linen and Lace. I used Frayed Burlap Distess ink from Tim Holtz.  The tall dress form in the middle is a foam stamp from Prima(Scrapbook.com).  I stamped it them cut ou the dress and cut out the "stand".  The stamp, stamps the stand solid to but I did not want it solid. I trimmed it with 4mm pearls on the top and pearled trim at the waste.   The two smaller dress forms are Tim Holtz Sewing Room dies.  The one on the left is coverd in lace look paper and sponged with ink. I added the s10 flowers from Iamroses.com.  I used a dark brown on the shoulder and 3 cream ones to the waste.   The left one I lined the paper so the large flower would be the skirt and just added Basic Grey pearls for a necklace.  I then topped the front with pearl trim from atreasuresnest.com.  Thank Hugs, Robbin

Here is the Holiday banner I made.  The paper is from Hobby Lobby and the side area Christmas ribbon.  I used a boarder punch on the top green piece.  They are all trimmed on the bottom with pearls. The letters were cut from Winter Woodland and the wreath it is on was cut from Joy to the Season. The "H" has a thick felt tree and a couple Iamroses skeleton leaves.  The "O" has a cute butterfly that was perfect.  Yes I know there are no butterflies in the winter but oh well.  The "D" and a couple other letter just got a large beaded pearl.  Love, Thanks Robbin

Spooky Banner

I love this banner.  It was so much fun to make.  I recently was in a "craft show" at our little towns celebration day.  I was the only one that showed up.  I used Happy Hauntings cartridge for the letters and some of the add ons.  The fence on the sides is the Martha Halloween Iron Fence punch{two layers}.  I used The Erie collection from Basic Grey for the back ground paper. The "O" has a plain grey headstone, I highlighted it with side of my foam ink applicator.  The RIP small punches is a Martha punch.  The "P" has one black Iamroses rose and the RIP was cut out at about 2.5" I used a Halloween look ribbon to hang it with.  Thanks Robbin

This paper you would have to provide your self, too. You will need to provide your own fast drying adhesive and a craft knife.  I use Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive.   I will be having the classes Tuesday August 23rd from 6-8 P.M. and Saturday August 27th from 10-12 A.M.  The seats are limited so please RSVP right away.  The cost of the kit and class is $15.00.  If you would like to bring your own paper the cost is $10.00.  A set of 6 for the months is $15.00 Please look at the next two post for more samples(sample paper is not part of the kit) and check out my videos on Youtube, Crazedcrafter.

Drummond's Scrap/Guest Book

Hey, Crafters.  I love making Scrap/Guest books.  The first 5 pages are scrap pages and the next 6 are for guest to sign.  I try to leave blank pages at the end.  That way if they want to add more they can.  Drummond worked with my husband and retired in July.  I wanted to make him something nice.  I went down to the local scale they work out of.  I took pictures of his badge, car plate{upper right}, his name plate{inside the book}and him with his car.  The blue that covers the book is the color of the squad cars.  They also use dark blue and yellow the car decals and patches.  It is hard to see in pictures that I used a zig zag stich around the edge.  I used Platinum School Book for the letters and numbers  The ribbon were from the Stand and Salute cartridge. The badge and plate on the top left and right are pictures.  The badge looks real in person.  The middle right is an actual patch.  I added a rolled rose and aluminum roses to the bottom of the patch.  The gun is a picture of the actual gun they carry.  The sign under says, "The Few, The Proud, The M.V.E."  Then his dates of service.  He loved the book.  You know when you get done with something.  Then you pat yourself on the back.  This was one of them.  LOVE IT!!!  Thanks for stopping, Robbin XOXO

Jessica's Baby Shower~The Scrapoholic~ Challenge

I was getting ready to make a card for Jessica's baby shower. When I sat down to catch up on Facebook. I found this Saturday Sketch Challenge that The Scrapoholic made. I loved it and didn't have to think about it at all. Thanks Scrapoholic!!!
I used the Cricut Moter's Day cartridge to cut the top notes. I used my Gypsy to cut the 5 sizes ranging from 3.75" down to 2.25". I used a lace ribbon across the front and embossed the "It's a Girl" in white. I printed her name with Word on my computer. The paper I used was from the Sweet Stack from DCWV. Then I sponged the edge of the card with pink ink from Michael's $1 inks. Jessica loved the card. Thanks for stopping by my Blog today. Please stop by CrazedCrafter on Youtube and subscribe. Happy Sunday to all!!! Robbin

~Black & White~ Wedding framed Layout

Hi, Crafters. I made this framed wedding shadow box for a neighbor. I started with the shadow box frame. I do not know them. It is hard to make something for someone you don't now.I knew I wanted to use the Tim Holtz sewing room die. I used black paint and then put crackly medium on then painted it white. You can see I did the same technique on the large chipboard Q. Then once I painted the dress form. I knew everything had to be black and white. I made a frame for the dress for to be in. I used pleated box satin for the "dress". I tried putting several thing on the top but nothing worked. I added 4 black Iamroses to the corner off the dress box and a white Martha butterfly. I layered 3 stripes of tulle on the bottom cut a tuxedo top out of the Cricut Billionaire cartridge. The Mr&Mrs is cut with the Sweethearts cartridge at 2.5" Then layered 3 black and white paper together from the Paper Studio. Love the way it turned out. Thanks for stopping by. Hugs Robbin XOXO

Welcome Back card

Here is a card I made for our cook at school Velora. She has been off for 3 months on medical leave. I thought this would be a great way to welcome her back. The flowers in the basket and butterflies are from paper collection by K & Company by Susan Winger Spring Blossom collection. It was a all on one 4.74x6.75 page. I cut the flower and butterflies out. I glued the flowers directly down, then laid the butterfly down, then used a pencil and wrote the Welcome Back and used my white gel pen over it. I put the butterflies on pop dots and drew a white gel pen line around the edges. I love it. How cute it turned out. Thanks Robbin

I used Paper Studio Pink Armadillo paper for the green, blue and brown. The Thanks So Much stamp is from Friskars stamp set called So Much Thanks. I think it is so cute. Thanks Robbin

Cami 2 yr Scrapbook page

Good Evening to my fellow Crafters out there. Tonight I am sharing a layout I created this past weekend. This is my Cami Sue at the age of 2 and our most favorite picture of her. I love this dress and still have it. Her Grandmother bought this at a yard sale. Ya, I know what a great buy.
I used My Minds Eye, Fine and Dandy paper and chipboard collection. The design of this page was easy. This was one of those pages that you just cute paper to what looks good to you. I didn't use my Cricut for this one. I know CRAZY but I just loved the chipboards and paper. So, if you can't come up with which cartridge to use. It is ok sometimes you have to use other products. Your Cricut will be ok with this. LOL
Thanks for stopping by, XOXO Robbin

Pink Heart Valentine's Tag

This is a GREAT LOVE FAB Valentine's tag I made. I bought this paper last Valentine's Day. It is Making Memories ~Love Struck~ The heart background is ~Be Mine Tag~ and the dark pink is ~Be Mine Strip~ collection. The white Rosette Ribbon is from Hobby Lobby and I knew that is where I wanted it. I then new I wanted the Martha Butterfly punch there at the top with Pearls Then I used Forever Young {page 29} oval. I made that to fit in both front and back. The front was finished off with a few pearls and two Martha paper flowers. I aslo put 3 pearls under the oval Then the feathers were used to fill in the top. I used a pin, a pearl and a butterfly spacer in the feathers. I placed cameo from Canterburylane on Etsy. Then the 2 lucite flowers with that to finish off the front.
The back I want this picture of me and my husband Jeff. I think this oval is 3" with a 3 1/4" white back. I used a couple of the imiages from the paper collection to fill in the left side.
Thank you Robbin Enjoy XOXOXO
