Carriage Carved Pumpkin

Hi everyone!!! I love the Cinderella story.  I even had vinyl lettering on the back of my van that says "Cinderella's Van".  So, that is why my bestie Meagan made me a Pumpkin Carriage.  The darn thing turned to mold in 3 days.  Do know why?  We were so bummed out, found one on Pinterest and   explains how we came up with the idea.  This carved pumpkin is #1 on my favorite list of projects.    Our little town has a Halloween day.  They had a pumpkin person and decorated pumpkin contest.  WE WON!!!  The city also has a hot dog bound fire for the citizens of our town.  Then a Unhaunted and Haunted hay rack ride that night.  It was a lot of fun.
The decoration on the pumpkin is mostly costume jewelry, Micheal's $1 frames and bling, metallic gold paint, button on the wheels and used my Cricut cartridge Elegant Edges for the windows.  Do you think I can figure out which cartridge I used for the wheels.  Nope, don't you hate that.  The wheels were cut out of plywood along with the front seat.

Linda Veldboom, Survivor!!!

This one was so exciting and gave me great joy to make.  Why, cuz my great friend Linda is a SURVIVOR!!!  The blank space on the right is for a 5x7 picture. I used my Cricut Pink Journey cartridge to cut the ribbon and I'm a Survivor.  The flowers are Iamrose, of course.  The white trim is Hobby Lobby and garage sale finds.  I am so happy for Randy & Linda.  Love you both.   If you have a questions let me know.  Hugs Robbin

Meagan's Baby Shower Invites

These days everyone as an ultrasound and founds out the sex of the baby.  Well, no my BFF and husband.  I think it is great too.  We never found out what we were having either.  It is hard to find neutral baby shower items.  I wanted to us colors that she is using in the baby's room.  The turquoise back ground paper is the color of the walls. I thought she was going to use some reds but we found some FAB fabric.  It is burnt orange with green, yellow and turquoise dots all over it.  This paper is from Echo Park and I love it.  Thanks for stopping by,  Hugs Robbin ©crazedcrafter

Old Fashion Nursing Hats

These are so fun.  My neighbor graduated from nursing school.  She called and asked me to make hats for the table decor.  I did a little research on the net to see how to make them.  I couldn't find a pattern I liked so I made my own.  Here is the Youtube video to get all the answers. It is at 58,000 hits.

Meagan & Brett's Fire

I took this picture at my BFF Meagan's house.  We have been helping them remodel the babies room and kitchen.  They live out in the country and decided just to burn the materials from the kitchen.  It is a pretty old house and has very dry lath boards.  They light it all at once and the fire became big fast.  The pine tree next to it caught fire way up on top.  She called me and I said call 911 NOW.  We arrived at the same time as our volunteer fire fighters did.  I was amazed when I looked at the pictures and found this one. It is a great shot.  They didn't put the fire out all the way so the materials could burn.  We are having a lot of fun teasing them.  Thanks Hugs Robbin

Name Layout ~Wedding Gift~

These are so much fun to make.  I know she loved it too.  The deer antlers are a unique item to my projects.  They are very popular around here.  It is challenging to us camo and make it look good but nailed this one again.  The flowers and rock are a great touch.  I made a video showing how I carve the names on the antler.  So head on over and check it out. Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08gOto8HMQ0   Thanks for stopping Hugs Robbin

Savannah's Camo Framed Layout

This is one of those projects you have to pat yourself on the back.  Savannah and Derek love camo the outdoors and hunting.  The wedding will have camo and the bridesmaids dresses are burnt orange.  The background paper is barn siding  and the camo is from Hobby Lobby.  The doily which I think gives it a feminine feel is spray with South Shore Sand from Lindy's Stamp Gang.  There is a variety of IamRoses.com flowers with a burlap muslin flower cut with Tattered Floral die from Tim Holtz.  The Pine Tree die from Tim Holtz is also burlap with rocks from my Hostas garden below the tree.  Please check out my video on Youtube~CrazedCrafter~ and subscribe.  Hugs Robbin

Meagan's card and gift Bag

First, do not take pictures of a set in two different lightings, LOL.  I made this set for my girl Meagan.  It is a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card.  I wanted to take her some Butterfingers and Mike & Ike's.  She is pregnant she has been craving the candy bar.  I love the paper from Hobby Lobby.  This shows you how you can use barn sididng paper outside of the box.  I love the femine look with it.  Please check out my video on Youtube for all the details.  CrazedCrafter

I sprayed the doily with South Shore Sand from Lindy's Stamp Gang and topped it with brown burlap.  The stamp is from Hero Arts I colored the flowers and leaves with ink and the flowers are from Iamroses.com.  The bag is a cheap bag from Walmart that I decked out.  The flowers are cut with Tim Holtz Tattered Flower die brown burlap and muslin.  I have a butterfly die  and cut brown burlap.  The smaller butterflies are cut with Martha's punch.  She loved them.  Thanks, Hug Robbin

A Ladie's Diary Frame1

I really don't know how I forget to take before pictures of Flea Market finds.  This frame was a horrible green color unless you are a John Deer fan, LOL.  I painted this with Parchment Folk Art paint which goes perfectly with the Ladie's Diary.  The Ladies Diary paper from Graphic 45 the most beautiful paper ever.  The IamRoses flowers are sprayed with Lindy's stamp Gang Fuzzy Navel Peach, Cosmopolitan Pink and Stone Sand.  I love the MFTStamps dies are fab.  The Rolled Flower and Fancy Flourish are my favorites  The two doilies are from Michael's and I sprayed them with Lindy's Stone Sand to cut down on the brightness of the white.  I think no project is complete without butterflies from Martha.  The picture is from 2008 when we went to Mall of America.  Please go check out my video on YouTube.  Hugs Robbin

Patriotic Pride Scrappy Moms Stamps Challenge

Aren't these 4th of July cutouts so cute.  I made a similar banner for a friend last year and had to make it for us.  I can not for the life of me find the web site. That offered the free banner print out.  It is printed at 9.5" wide.  The Real Red from Stampin Up is punched out with an EKsuccess punch.  I topped the banner with the God Bless America paper from Paper Studio.  The blue bandanna paper is also from Paper Studio.  The rosettes are 2-12" strip cut at 2' wide.  I used my Martha circle cutter to cut a 3 1/2" Real Red and 3 1/4" with the white.  I used Cricut Ashlyn's Alphabet to cut the letter at 3".  It is hanging by small clothes pins painted with Midnight blue paint on twine.  LOVE.  The hat is cut out of Real Read at 10", the firecracker is 4 1/4" wide and the Freedom is 3 3/4" tall.  Thank you so much for stopping by.  Check out the video for the banner at my Youtube Channel, CrazedCrafter.  Hugs Robbin

Jim & JoAnn's 50th Anniversary Guestbook

Here are a few pictures of the Guestbook/Scrapbook I made for My In-laws 50th Anniversary party.  They loved it and the party was fabulous.  The small picture on the cover of the book is their hands.  I added a 3-D flower from Pro 31 Designs.  The trim on the cover is beautiful.  The bottom layer is from Hobby Lobby, the top trim is from the Internet along with the cameo & penny farthing bike and the pearls below that are Paper Studio. The picture of them together is all My Mind's Eye paper.  I just added a few butterflies and a piece of fence from MFTStamps.com.  In the wedding dress page I topped it with Prima pearls. The bottom white ruffled trim is from Hobby Lobby, topped with a flower pearl trim.  The bottom lace trim is from WildOrchardCrafts.com along with the buckle slides.  I am not sure what brand the stamp is but perfect.  The last page is Theresa Collins paper.  It is perfect with black and white picture.  I used her cut out that says Believe in Love. That is perfect for this picture.  Thanks so much for stopping by,  Hugs Robbin

Quilt Wall Hanging w/Family Bday

I have made many beautiful items for lots of people.  Well it was time I made something to hang in our home.  This is the a one of a kind.  Since we are all addicted to www.Pinterest.com  I have looked at many really neat items with anniversary and birth dates.  This is what I came up with for us.  The wedding ring quilt is my favorite of all the quilts.  My girlfriend Theresa came over and helped me with this.  It took us about 2 hours to get all the cuts right.  The circles we cut out on the Cricut and used George Basic cartridge. The outside circle was cut at 8 1/2" and the inside was cut at 7 1/2". The papers are from Paper Studio and My Mind's Eye. I wanted to use a guy and girly paper.  I bought the background paper in the art section at Hobby Lobby and it is acid free.  I used Tim Holtz distress inks to distress the background paper.  The 4 other pattern papers are from several My Mind's Eye collections.  I already had the frame.  I painted the frame and inside of the back of the frame with a light brown.  I cut Dietrich out with Winter Wonderland about 2" and used reposition able adhesive to attach it to the background. Then added crackle, let that dry and used Burnt Umber to paint over.  I missed some spots or it wouldn't crackle in some spots so I distressed it myself. I cut the center piece from Elegant Edges at 3" and not sure which piece I used.   I have terrible handwriting so I called a friend Julie to come write the dates for me.   What a super great piece.  I was really excited about it.  Thanks Hugs Robbin

Derek's Graduation Guestbook

A friend of mine here in our little town Julie asked me to make this book.  Her son's name is Derek just like mine.  When we moved here who would have thought there would be two Derek's. then our last names are very similar.  They call this Derek, Big Derek and mine Little Derek.  This past January another Derek moved to town too.  I don't know if they called him medium Derek, LOL.
I guess I will get to the book.  She wanted it to be more of an autograph book.  I just put a lot of blank white pages in the middle.  We did put the Gift/Thank you pages in.  He is headed off to the Army in July.  I wanted to wait till she brought the family picture to add embellishments.  I so love the fall pictures they took of him.  Then like always I finish with a memory pocket at the end.  I do have more pictures at my FB page, Robbin CrazedCrafter.  Thanks Hugs Robbin

Courtney's Graduation Guestbook

There is so much I love about this book.  The colors are her favorite colors and I love them.  She is an outdoor going fishing girl and one of the nicest girls ever.  I have more pages from this book on my FB page Robbin CrazedCrafter.  I thought the birdcage combined with the butterfly is so cute.  I added the 3-D flower from Pro 31 Design.  I used Die-Namic dies from MFT Stamps on her first page.  I think the light brown Recollection bling is perfect for these pages.  The "quilt" page was designed by my friend Thersa.  It is super cute.  I was so excited when I tied that bow perfectly and the small Iamroses flowers and the buttons are perfect with the pictures.  The Family page is the cutest simplest page to make.  The round flower is cute with 3 different circles I wrinkled, edged it with vintage photo ink and the bling is perfect again.  I love this Graphic 45 page.  I have had the Once upon a Springtime page since it came out.  This is the first time I really used it.  It is such a cute page for her to put a picture of her and her man.  I can't wait to add her favorite pictures.  Please send me a friend request at my FB Robbin CrazedCrafter to see the rest of the pages.  Hugs, Robbin

Miranda's Prom Layout

Hi, Bloggers.  Wow has our lives have been crazy.  We made it through Prom & Graduation.  I made 3 guestbooks, this framed layout and 2 wall hangings in the last month.  They all turned out perfect.  This young lady asked me to make this for her.  She brought me her corsage, his flower, the feathers she wore in her hair, the ticket to get in the dance, the drawing an artist drew at after prom and the picture.  I had a hard time working with the feathers.  They didn't want to stay in place while I designed the layout.  I had to add few feathers cuz it was alittle empty and everything else I thought to add looked stupid.  The ticket layer perfect on top.  Her picture fit so nice in the headband.  The boyfriends boutonniere looks perfect with the drawing.  I added black pearls to the bottom left to balance out the dark colors up above.  Her corsage would not fit between the glass.  It looks great on the outside edge.
If you have any questions yell, Hugs Robbin
