Traci's Cricut Cookbook Binder

Now isn't this recipe cookbook binder cute and Traci loved it.  I used three different Cricut cartridges to cut everything for the cover.  I will attach a link to my Youtube channel so you can hear all the details.  It is hard to see in the picture, but if you look at the lower right corner.  It reads Disclaimer: After Coffee, Drinks & Dessert.  She really loved it and I hope you do too.  Here is the link to hear all the details: http://youtu.be/1AHnL0-WxBE

Liz's Cricut Cookbook Binder

This cookbook binder is the cutest and my friend Liz loved it.   Liz is a wild and has a big personality.  I think this Prima Doll Stamp is sassy and perfect for her book.  I will give you a link my video on Youtube channel to hear all the details.  The one thing I forgot to mention is the second arm, LOL.  The stamp only has the one arm but she needed to hold the pie.  I stamped a second arm, colored it with my Copic marker, cut it out and glued it on.  I really love how this one turned out.  Here is the link to my video giving all the details on Liz's and Traci's cookbook  http://youtu.be/1AHnL0-WxBE

Stampin Up' Thank you Card

I am in love with the Stampin' Up Flower Shop and punch set.  I will be investing so much more in the sets.  The pink and navy are my favorite combination when it comes to anything.  The paper is the Stampin' Up in colors for 2012-2014 Midnight Muse and the pink is from Hobby Lobby.  Theresa Collins Every day Moments is a perfect match.  I had to use my houndstooth embossing folders since the flower has the houndstooth in it.  LOVE IT!!!

Thank You Card

I made this Thank You card for one of my Norwex Party Host.  It was so simple, design to finish 20 minutes.  The washi tape I bought at Michael's on the clearance rack.  I love the shoes and purses plus houndstooth is my favorite pattern.  I used Cricut Cartridge Elegant edges for the 3 layers which are cut at 4', 3.75" and 3.50".  The thank you stamp is from Hobby Lobby, popped a gem in 3 corners and Paper Studio flowers in the lower left.  So, fast easy and one of my favorites.

Baby Layout Camo Style

You know how you always fear spelling something wrong.  This was it.  I looked all over their Facebook page to find the correct spelling.  When I found it in one spot this was the spelling and I should have asked.  I asked what his middle name was why didn't I confirm it, Bentley Miller  The background is canvas along with the middle picture mat piece.  I always make these for a 5x7 pictures. I cut the name with my Cricut to use as a stencil.  I used Tim Holtz walnut stain and vintage photo to fill in the letters and distress the back ground. The frame with his birth date is a wood veneer piece from Wood Veneers for Sale on PhotoBucket.com. I went out to my yard and found a few pieces of bark and pebbles.  The moss, wheat pieces and feathers I had in my stash.  Grandma and Grandpa are going to keep this one.  I will make one for mom and dad with the name spelled correctly.  LOL
Thank you so much for stopping, Hugs Robbin

Graphic 45 A Ladies Diary Boxes

I really love the Graphic 45 A Ladies Diary. What girly girl wouldn't. I modge podged the background paper on.  Then fussy cut out the lady and three images.

The light brown doily is a thrift store find, the dark on is Paper Studio, the flower was in my stash and the brad is Graphic 45.  The doily in the background is BoBunny and the pearls are Zva Creative.

The flowers are I am Roses assortment, with another doily peaking out.  The cameo was bought on Ebay.  The Eiffel Tower is a wood veneer piece from Wood Veneers for Sale on Photo Bucket.

This next small jewelry box was from a thrift store too.  It was so cute I couldn't leave it behind.
I cut out an image and the post card for this box.  I just added a hint of the blue a full mat was to much and wanted to give it a stopping point.  The roses are I am Roses and the key/locket were in my stash.
The side lace I toned down with Tim's Stained Walnut ink.  Then topped it with flat back pearls, Cute

Husband Graphic 45 Proper Gentleman Father's Day card

Hi Crafters.  I made this Father's Day card for my Husband back in 2010.  I used Graphic 45 Proper Gentleman paper and Basic Grey's Basic White paper.  It has been 3 years since I made this and the details are not fresh in my mind.  The video link will be posted for you to see.  When I build a card I don't always go by the rules.  I cut paper to my liking.  There are times I shave a little off 10 different times.  I do know I fussy cut the gentleman at the top and the car at the bottom.  Please check out the video.  Here is the link:

Father's Day 2010 cards

Hi Crafters.  This was once of my first cards using Graphic 45.  The Proper Gentleman is the perfect collection to use for Father's Day.  It is a very easy card to make cut out the watch faces, use Cricut to cut out Dad and layer.  The white piece is from Basic Grey's Basic White paper pad.  When I cut my layers I don't always know what size they will be.  I go by eye and when it looks good. That is when I stop but it has been 3 years since I made the card. So, I best give you the link to the video to see my process.

Barrett Duck Call

This is our besties son, Barrett.  Brett brought me the frame, duck call, shot gun shells and duck feathers.  He wanted the shells and duck call where they are. Then said, " work your magic."
I used a light brown burlap for the background.  The picture mats first layer is denim and a orange paper.  In each corner of the mat is a nail head brad.  I bought the wheat with leaves and natural moss at Hobby lobby.  Once I placed  everything where I wanted it I tucked in the duck feathers.  This was the fastest layout I have ever made and LOVE IT!!!  How could I not love it, Barrett is in it.
Check out my video on Youtube for more close up looks and details.

I Am Roses Door Sign

Hi Crafters!!!  My parents just moved into Assisted Living due to my Mother's advanced Dementia.  When we were there last weekend visiting.  I notice some of the residents doors had something on them. So Yes I had to make them something.  I new the I am Roses R~77 had to fit in this.  The first thing was to find paper that would go perfect with them and Authentique it is.  I cut the plaque from Elegant Edges at 5x7.5 on my Gypsy.  The font is Billionaire Lite Cartridge "Sheldon" was cut at 3"x7" layered on brown cardstock.  I love the arrangement of the I Am Roses with flowers from More Paper than Shoes.  There are a few porcelain flowers mixed in the arrangement.  I tucked in some leaves, fillers and a few pearls to add a finishing touch.  I did not have the right ribbon on hand to us to hang it with.  I will add a picture of it hanging on the door.  Thank you Hugs, Robbin

Brandy's Bridal Shower Gift

Brandy's Bridal Shower

My fabulous friend Brandy is getting married in Jamaica in April.  I wanted to make her something that would go with the beach theme but did not yell beach.  Plus I wanted to make sure it would go with her home style.  It turned out perfect.
I used My Mind's Eye Lost & Found 2 collection.  I made the mat for a 5x7 picture with the background mat cut at 6x8, then a layer of cardboard which gave the picture area alot of dimension.
The gold trim I had in my stash.
I went to Michael's for the flowers and was so excited to find some with sand color in them. I used flat back pearls, a couple of buttons and the large flower center is G45. I painted all the metals with Cocoa and dry brushed with Antique White. The metals are Tim Holtz, Recollections and G45.

When I make a gift like this I try to make sure the cards match some what.  I used the same MME paper line, typed the Congrats on Word, the clock stamp is a $1 stamp from JoAnn's but had to use IamRoses flowers for the card,  I made the little corner brackets to fill in the empty space.  The bottom right corner was calling for the key.  The finishing touch is always the Martha 3 butterfly punch.  It turned out great.
She loved them and can't wait to put her pictures in it.  Thanks for stopping by and come visit me at my Facebook page.  Robbin CrazedCrafter

Craft Room Inventory & Ink Pad Color Charts

Hello Crafters!!!!!  I wanted to share my craft room book with you.  How often do you go to the store and buy a tool you already have?  We all do it because you just can't remember everything.  I want to buy new things not spend money on what I own.  This is why I created this book and it is going to get used.

The first part of my binder has ink pad color charts.  I have found that I do grab this a lot to choice the best color for any project I am working on.  I also made my own color charts for Memento & Colorbox ink pads.  If you would like a copy message me at my FB page, Robbin CrazedCrafter

The rest of the binder has samples of all my punches, dies and embossing folders.  I will be making a list for my Cricut Cartridges and other goodies I have in my stash.  Please check out my video at this bottom of this page.  I really love it.
Thank you for coming over to my blog.  Have a great weekend.  Hugs Robbin

CrazedCrafter's Craft Room

We recently had a Spaghetti Party and had about 20 guest.  A friend of ours that we usually meet in Iowa City came here and fell in love with my craft room.  She has encouraged me to post for Pinterest.  This room was truly put together on a budget.  The set of 4 10' each counter top was $40, the bookcase under was about $100, the peg board is like $10 each.
The shelving under the counter my husband built and each are 13" wide.  The containers in each are like 20 quart containers from Walmart.  They contain extra adhesive, extra tools, embossing powder, fibers and laces.  The 3 shelves behind the trash can each have my paper scraps one has solid, one has patterned paper the last one has white, black and craft card stock.  It is all in perfect reach.
This is a close up of where I sit.  The bottom of the picture and left is my white gel pens and markers, then my rules with my trimmers, the containers hanging have my color pencils, tools, glue sticks then my scissors.  My hot glue gun sticks, ATG and my Scor Tape is hanging there.  The shelve above has my inks and small ribbons I grab a lot.
This section is to the left of where I site.  The punch board in the right is the most grabbed punches I use and another one up above that holds my more seasonal ones. The peg board has alot of my fast grabs too.  It has my bling, veneer cutes, brads, flowers and lots of misc.  My paper towels and wet wipes sit there too.  My book to the left of the monitor has a sample of all my punches, inks, markers and printables in it.  I do have a video of me making the punch shelves.  Our friend Randy said I would never be able to make them.  I provide it LOL,  Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ER3ItR5fQ58

You can see my Lindy's and Glimmer Mist on the top shelf.  My Stickles are on the shelf about Hello Kitty too.  My most Fav My Mind's Eye 6x6 stacks hang on the board along with Basic Grey and Cosmo Cricket and few other misc. paper pads.  In the corner under Hello Kitty are my 8x8 and 4.5x6.5 pads.  I don't use my Cricut has much as I used to but that has been it's place since it came home.

The left is my pattern paper, then plain paper and felt, The stand is for my Big Shot.  The next container has my I am Roses flowers and the next two containers holds, pearls, leaves, feathers, and all kinds of other little things we Crafters buy.

I also made the self that hold my Cricut cartridges. Here is the link to the video  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPlotIj1a-w   The plastic shelf has my stacks of plain and patterned paper.  I just donated several sets to the school. The next couple shelves down have containers of ribbon and totes bursting at the seam with stamps.

That was the tour of my little craft room.  I love my space and hope you do.  Thanks Hugs, Robbin

Cricut Cake Wedding Card Holder

I think some of you will remember a few years back Cricut had a contest.  We were to used cartridges that were released that year and anything goes.  I decided to do this wedding card holder.  It was so much fun to make.  The cake layers were paper mache' round hat boxes.  The brown paper I picked up at Hobby Lobby in the art department.  The blues are Bazzill bling from my local scrapbook store.  There are so many details on this so you must see the video I made.  Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XBtzp3Yijw  These two link are more detailed videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XBtzp3Yijw and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWpITRxNRIk   Thank you for stopping by, Hugs Robbin

Recipe Binder Cricut ~From my Kitchen~

I think we all get recipes over the years, write them down and then lose them.  When my niece Jacklyn bridal shower came up on my to do list. I wanted to make something nice for her to put recipes in.  I went to Staples found this binder and sleeves.  The From My Kitchen Cricut Cartridge was perfect.  I love the stove and refrigerator they are super cute.  Then decided the bread, bowl and rolling pin would reflect recipes the best and topped it with whip, blend and stir.  I used Elegant Edges cartridge to cut the name plate.  The butterfly bling is from Zva Creations.  The inside pages I used word to design.  She really loved it.  Thanks Hugs Robbin

Jewelry Inspired Mini Album

As most of you know I live in a town of about 1500 people.  Every year in June we have city wide tag sales.  A few years back I ran into a friend and told her I was looking for odds and ends jewelry.  She said I will call ya and boy did she.  Her friends mother passed away and they were selling everything.  She asked me what I did with it all.  I told her I would make something for her.  This is the cover to the book. You can go to my FB page to see several more pictures. You can also check out the video here is the link  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yyWKD3M2_k  She really loved it.
